I think when the American people wake up from their sleepless dream it would be Amerikkkas Nightmare for the people will then realize it takes a people to run a nation and begin to hold those accountable for centuries of numerous crimes committed against the people under the guise of nation building. Wake up America. Be free from this mental, social, systematic slavery and indict those who have waged war against us.

NEW MUSIC : Amerikkkas Nightmare 2/Children Of War
by General Steele on Feb.01, 2010, under hip-hop, New Music
General Steele of the rap duo Smif-N-Wessun and Super-Group WorldWide Bootcamp Clik (thats me..haha)
is about the release the second LP off of my Bucktown Usa Ent. label
distributed by Duck Down Records.
This album reflects my social and political views about America and around the world.
Being a citizen of the United States of America I chose to address topics that plague us such as (mental) slavery, servitude, poverty, war, famine, pestilence as well as government corruption, conspiracy theories, and the bevy of topics concerning the history and future of the United States of America.
All the views expressed here are my own.
I hand selected the producers
both who have I have worked with before.
One is the young souljah from Germany 7venHD
and the young homie from Big City/New York Che Triumph
Two extremely talented producers.
Be on the lookout for them this year.
I employed a few good women and men on this project.
I got my beloved comrades Mutulu & Sticman of Dead Prez to get involved
also
5th Column General-Hasaan Salaam
as well as
Hicoup, Akir, Hakeem Green (Channel Live), Lin Que (Blackwatch), Rush & Sphinx (Arabian Knights;out of Egypt), Saint Laz (Pottersfield), Kahlil Almustafa, Shabaam Sahdeeq and Planet Asia ( who came thru in the 11th hour:Strong salute to my comrades in the Bay Area).
Then I got some resident bombardiers
BTUs own
Louie Skaggs makes an appearance as well as Ruste Juxx, Top Dog (OGC), Flood Diesel and my girl Nicole Michelle and lets not forget the Bucktown Babies (all the children who participated).
In addition
whom I think needs honorable mention
the lovely Madison Rocks, the talented J.U.S of The J.U.S Evolution (whose guitar skills are unmatched) and unquestionably one the most talented cats in the game my boy Brian Herman (who hates the attention) who played a very intricate part in this project all across the board (and his partner Shane for giving allowing us to use his lovely spot on such short notice) .
On that note I have to mention my partner in grind
Cynical (theyoungshotgunner) Smith, my council Kdees, Wise Dred (HiipMovement) ,L. Skaggs, Phil Shung and the talented Mallie Mickens to name a few.
And last but not least…..this sounds like an acceptance speech…hahaha
but yeah
my Duck Down Fam for believing in this movement…fam for life……family is important.
All the people involved in this project is family. This is what makes it that much special.
There are others who I invited to get involved but due to time restraints were unable to.
Look Out For The Remixes..HaHa!
But for now
here is a sample of whats in store

“We Back Mortimer”… quote from the movie ‘Trading Places’
by General Steele on Mar.10, 2009, under New Music
Yeh “We Back Mortimer”, remember that?
Anyway
I’m back in business. It’s been a minute since my last (first) blog.
Sometimes this internet biz gets hard to keep up with, especially when you are an artist / editor / engineer /father / etc.
But you know the game don’t stop
As you may or may not know we began working on “Welcome To Bucktown” the soundtrack last year
and did a collaboration with Methods NYC in which we released a limited line of T-shirts (4 original designs)
accompanied by an advance digital copy of the soundtrack “Welcome To Bucktown”
(including 9 songs when you purchase any one of the shirts).
Check out exclusive footage in SMT Studios with Evil Dee applying the cuts…..

“Welcome To Bucktown”
by General Steele on Dec.24, 2008, under Film, hip-hop, New Music
Finally the next dimension of the Bucktown saga. This marks the beginning of new things to come and the continuance of a legacy of a song turned company turned lifestyle. Finally we launch the new website <www.BucktownUsa.com>. Big up to Cynical my partner in crime and Cari (Innovation Nation) for getting the site back up and looking classic. It’s been many long nights but we see how dedication pays off.
Also we are releasing our first digital lp entitled “Welcome to Bucktown” which features a list of brooklyn rappers who I personally respect and whom are highly respected in the music industry as well as the streets. Artist such as Bootcamp of course, Smoothe and Trigga, Shabaam, Sha Stimuli and others.I wanted the lp to be reminiscent of that 95 grittiness when “Bucktown” the single was 1st released by Smif-n-Wessun. I also wanted the sound to have a kind of 70′s soul to it. It was great working with the different artist, as well as producers such as Che Triump ,Sven aka 7venHD. Big up Donna and Brian at SMT studios for treating us like family.
And finally you have the explosive collaboration of BTU and Methods NYC launching a line of limited edition Bucktown apparel, can you say “dangerous” boys and girls. Big up to all the designers that helped to bring the vision together with the apparel as well as the lp artwork. I got to work with one of favorite visionaries and photographer, Fubz.
Everybody talks about how much they got love or use to have love for this culture , but very few are willing to take a chance on sh*t. I don’t know about you guys but I am tired off hearing artist rhyme over the same track, a milli times, are you serious. Does the word overkill mean anything to you people?
Nowadays artist seem to be failing the culture. We are not a culture based on making it rain at the club. It began from cats stealing electricity from an outside lamp post so they can plug up equipment to have a party for the hood. Something out of nothing. Up from the slums. Even the old hustlers use to at least give turkeys out in the hood. To whom much is given, much is required.
It’s my responsibility to do my part. And in parting I say stay tuned the Generals crusade has only just begun…….
Give us some feedback, as we continue to develop the site.
BuckTooOOWwn!
